Brand Name: Konica-Minolta I supposedly bought a Minolta 28mm f/2 lens from "Fab Items." I paid $465 -- a good price for a professional level lens that goes for $450-600+ these days. But I was sent a Minolta 28mm f2.8 lens -- an inexpensive consumer lens that can be bought for $90-120 at www.keh.com or on ebay. I had to file a claim with Amazon.com and got a refund 2 weeks later. Note: one of the current sellers is offering the f/2.8 under the banner of the f/2 -- and is charging $320. As noted above, you can buy an f2.8 for about $100 at keh.com, with a 14 day unconditional return guarantee and a 60-day warranty. If you're not familiar with the difference between those two lenses, visit these two links: [...] Both are nice lenses, but the f/2 (also written f/2.0 -- instead of f/2.8) is a classic, and one of the best lenses Minolta ever made. It's a professional quality lens. Make sure you ask a dealer here whether the lens you're getting has f/2 (or f/2.0) on the front of the lens. Another marker is that the f/2 has a filter size of 55mm marked on the front of the lens, while the f2.8 has a filter size of 49mm marked there. ASK FIRST, so you won't have to go through the hassle I had to go through! I wholeheartedly recommend the f/2 lens. If you want the f2.8, get it at a good price elsewhere.
