This take-along easily carries a small SLR with a short lens, multiple rolls of film (in the outer pocket), and accessories (in the inner laminated mesh pocket). Slip it onto your belt or carry it over your shoulder. The great thing about the Nikon D40 is it's smaller size compared with other DSLRs. The challenge is to find a bag that is just big enough for the essentials so you won't have to lug around a large bag for a relatively small camera. The D40 (with the kit lens) fits very nicely in the TLZ Mini - longer lenses need not apply. It's impressively padded for such a small bag. The front pocket is small but large enough for me to carry what I need: currently a spare battery, lens hood, UV filter, and a small lens cleaner. If size DOES matter to you because you're trying to carry light, this bag is just the right size. Updated 12-9-07: I just purchased the Nikon SB-400 Speedlight, and it tightly fits with it's own case in the front pocket of the TLZ Mini.
