Matching the optical design of this accessory lens to their camera's prime lens, resulted in Nikon's creating the highest quality wide-angle lens attachment possible for the Nikon Coolpix 775, 995, 990, 950, 910, 900, 900s, 800, 880, 885, 4300 and 4500 cameras. Please note that the WC-E63 directly attaches onto the 28mm filter threads of the Nikon Coolpix 4500, 995, 990, 950, 910, 900, 900s, and 800 cameras but requires the Nikon UR-E4 Adapter (not included) for the Nikon Coolpix 4300 and 885 cameras and requires the Nikon UR-E2 Adapter (not included) for the Nikon Coolpix 880 and requires the Nikon UR-E3 Adapter (not included) for Nikon Coolpix 775. A great lens at a reasonable price. I often use the Wide Angle Lens for panoramic shots and sometimes for indoor use. Great for scenic shots such as mountains or valleys, and also for interiors, real estate, etc. When used indoors, an external flash or lighting is recommended. The lens partially obscures the built-in flash. And as with any wide angle, there is less light passing through the lens to the "film."
