Really liked the strap right out of the box. The connection to the camera (via tripod mount) is actually not too bad--made of metal and with the option to actually install another tripod quick-release plate.I connected some pretty heavy cameras (two heavy bodies with vertical grips and a big 70-200 2.8 and 24-70 2.8 glass attached) and it felt pretty good. The cameras do get perilously close to the ground when you squat and it feels less secure in that position--but that comes with any strap that brings the camera to your lower torso. After the first time out, however, an hour of shooting, I notice that the plastic buckle for strap length adjustment would not stay in a closed position. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the buckle's pin broke off. That's unfortunate because without modification, their is no way to keep its adjustment. Nylon and metal components are nice. The plastic parts--horrible.There goes my $15 experiment on this strap.
