This battery does not communicate with the vixia m41 camera to show a battery level, seller suggested that the factory may have change the chip in their batteries. Yet the compatibility description remains the same. Don't be dissapointed if it doesn't work with your camera as butterfly photo is only worried about their reviews and not their products. They refunded my money no issues but still would be nice just to order something and it work, couldn't resist the price...
