The JVC GR-SXM330U offers the convenience of compact VHS in a sleek, lightweight design. It is equipped with a 2.5-inch high-resolution color viewfinder for more realistic visuals while shooting, and it has a built-in light that improves the picture in low-light conditions. The digital image stabilization gets rid of annoying picture shakes, making your recording easier to watch. It also offers a 16x optical and 400x digital zoom. This is ideal for catching action at sporting events or in your backyard. The zoom is variable speed, triggered by finger pressure, and with a numeric zoom ratio readout in the viewfinder/monitor.
The camcorder is capable of three recording modes. Super VHS recording offers 60-percent better resolution than regular VHS. The SVHS ET allows you to record with that same high-resolution using any VHS-C tape. For full compatibility with any VHS video player you can record in standard VHS mode. VHS-C tapes are simply smaller-sized VHS tapes. You can play your VHS tapes in any VCR with the included cassette adapter.

Hello I was a new parent about three months ago and somebody told us when you have a kid buy a camcorder! We did and this is the one we purchased.It works excelently and captures all our precious moments on camara and now we can watch them over and over and over. It is the greatest thing,the camcorder works so well and has alot of features that you may not find on other camcorders. It is very convinient and super simple to use and hook up. It is one of those things you buy where you can honestly say you can take it out of the box and start using it in minutes. If you buy any camcorder this is the one to buy I support and suggest it to all who like it and I will say I love it.
