Ultra-high-image quality

Ideal choice for a wide range of photographic applications.
Neopan 100 is Fujifilm's professional newest addition to its black-and-white family of films. Neopan 100 is a medium speed, ultra-high-image quality black-and-white negative film. It features the world's highest standard in grain quality among ISO 100 films. It is an ideal choice for a wide range of photographic applications.
This classic-grain film differs from the more modern T-grain films such as T-Max and Fuji Acros. It provides a more classic black and white appearance of superior sharpness with fine, but not invisible, grain. My experience is that phenol based developers such as Rodinal (now Adonal or in equivalence, Fomadon) produce outstanding sharpness with this slower, fine grain film. Edge effects are dramatic and perceived sharpness is noticeable right out of development. Fuji's consistent quality control and the inherent stability of this film mean that room-temperature shelf life is lengthy. I have used so-called "expired" rolls of this film that were five years out of date that produced the same results as new rolls. I recommend this film to those truly interested in film photography.
