Improved color stability - The new color couplers employed in Fujichrome Velvia 100 significantl (review written by Nathan, Rachel's husband) I've only recently taken up film photography as a hobby. I read on several websites that Fuji Velvia 50 and 100 (not 100F) are great landscape films, and so I thought I would try them out. I found that Velvia 50 gives really intense colors, but changes the hues of some colors (example, orange turns red). I found that Velvia 100 gives very accurate, beautiful colors. In comparing scenes shot with a DSLR (Nikon D40) and Velvia 100 (with a Nikon N80), I found that the film picked up more color, and finer color hues than the DSLR. I thought that scanning the slides would cause me to lose some of the color hues, but to my joy they showed up in the digital scans as well. All in all, good film.
