We recommend steaming the backdrop if you would like to achieve the seamless look of paper. Once steamed, they will be "good to go". First off.....this is not shipped folded as mentioned in the description......so keep that in mind......you will receive a skinny ten foot long box about a foot in circumference. I will admit when I saw how skinny and flexible the box was I was worried about the vinyl being heavy duty enough to resist tearing.....especially when upon closer inspection I noticed you could see light through the vinyl! Buuut.......I gave it the benefit of the doubt, pulled everything out set it up and hoped for the best! Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the resulting photographs, just as good as the savage and lastolite backdrops I've used in the past but without the ridiculous price tag......bottom line......if you are looking for heavy duty last a lifetime vinyl then I would go with one of the more pricy vinyl backdrops.....but for something portable, effective, good quality and cost effective that will give you great results, then look no further!!!!
