This is a 3-section telescope cross bar for background support. Extend from 5 ft 5" to 10 ft with 5/8" female sockets on both ends to lock on to any light stands. Holds canvas, muslin or paper.

This is a great starter set but not for any pro use. The stands for a little flimsy. Also, there are no instruction but it fairly easy to figure out. All in all, not a bad kit.
