Like everyone says, you can see your cut line, it takes inexpensive, easy-to-find replacement blades, and it's lightweight and narrow (easy to take with you and store). I have used it for so many different types of projects I don't know where to begin. I've dragged one around for probably close to 20 years, lent it to anyone who asked, and it finally got compromised beyond repair.
