Since Canon only makes those, they have decided not to build one for the amateur bodies - so Opteka did.This one works as designed for my Canon EOS XTi and I have used it numerous times in the past few weeks that I have had it. Since I am an amateur photographer, it is taking me a bit to get up to speed on all the intricacies of what this device does for the photographer, however so far - I am impressed.I also have the Opteka battery pack and two batteries, which has held up wonderfully.
