The Homebase also features a built-in microphone, for recording voice messages. The audiovox message center is interesting, but maybe a little slow to be completely useful! I like being able to record a message and have the light come on to indicate a message. The light is also on for a calendar event that has a message, so sometimes it's hard to tell the difference. I couldn't get the card reader slot to read my SD card, but was able to easily load some pictures using my flash drive. It's a fun conversation piece, but we are using it more as a digital frame right now.
